Become a Homestay Host

Our international program is rapidly growing and GETI provides homestay for short-term stays and long-term placements. Living in homestay is compulsory for all students under 18 and offers students the chance to experience Australian culture, develop their English language skills – and make new friends!

Opening your home to students offers a rewarding learning experience for hosts, as students provide insight into their culture and share their ideas and perspectives. Click below for more information:

Speak Up

Students have viewed the following EC production, which reinforces our values of safety and respect at the college. Please take the time to view it at home to begin a conversation about this important issue.

WORLD CHALLENGE BORNEO 2019

Have you heard about our proposed World Challenge Trip to Borneo in September 2019? The trip involves an expedition style hike, camping and outdoor activities, and a community engagement project. Enrolling students will be able to complete an Outdoor Education syllabus alongside this trip. A parent information session will be held at 7pm on 29th May, following the parent-teacher night.
